Paste As...
DPaste provides multiple paste modes, allowing you to choose the most suitable paste method based on different usage scenarios. Whether it's plain text paste that removes formatting, or special paste using custom format templates, all can help you work more efficiently.
Feature Overview
DPaste's "Paste As" feature includes the following three main modes:
- Paste as Plain Text: Remove all formatting, keep only plain text content, suitable for scenarios requiring format cleanup
- Special Paste Formats: Use 50+ built-in format conversions, including JSON processing, text conversion, naming style conversion, etc.
- Paste Image as Text: Extract text from images through OCR recognition and paste as text, suitable for extracting text from screenshots or images
Use Cases
Paste as Plain Text
When you need to:
- Copy formatted text from web pages, but only need plain text content
- Remove formatting from code, keep only text
- Clean formatting in documents, unify to plain text
Special Paste Formats
When you need to:
- Format JSON into readable format, or compress to compact format
- Convert naming styles (such as camelCase, snake_case, PascalCase, etc.)
- Handle URL encoding/decoding
- Convert number bases (hexadecimal, octal, binary, etc.)
- Handle timestamp and date format conversion
- Format SQL statements
Paste Image as Text
When you need to:
- Extract text content from screenshots or images
- Quickly paste text from images into documents
- Recognize code, tables, or other text content in images
